CHOOSING YOUR HIRE VEHICLE
Can I choose a specific vehicle?
Usually, you choose one car group, not a specific model. We will provide an example car from the car group, to give you an idea what kind of car you are getting. You can also decide what extras you would like to have, such as GPS, child seat etc.

PAYING FOR YOUR HIRE VEHICLE
Is there a minimum or maximum age limit for hiring?
The age limit changes between different countries and car groups. In some countries, the young driver fee will be charged from anyone under 25 years.
In Finland, you must have had your driving license for at least a year before renting. We don't have other age limits. For renting in other countries, please read the country specific terms to be sure.

How can I pay for my rental car?
You can pay your car beforehand on our website or you can pay when you pick up the car.
We only accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex). You still need a credit card even if you have paid the rental online beforehand. We charge a deposit that will be returned to you in 1-4 weeks (depending on your bank and how fast it handles the return) after the car has been returned and checked by us.
Do I need a credit card?
Yes, your own credit card when you pick your hire car. Credit card is required even if you have paid the reservation beforehand. In some countries, you will need two credit cards depending on the car group.
Fuel
Does my hire car come with a full tank?
Yes, you will always get your hire car with a full tank. You should always return the car the same way, that is with a full tank.
Your other options are:
1. Pay for the fuel beforehand, and you don't have to refuel
2. Pay for the fuel afterwards, and we take care of refuelling. This is the most expensive option.
If you have a full-electric car, you will get it with at least 70% charge. Until end of 2023, we offer you the first charge and you can return the car with only a 10% charge! (In case of a charge lower than 10%, an extra fee of EUR100 will be charged.)

PROBLEMS DURING YOUR JOURNEY
I have been charged more than the car hire was, why is that?
We will charge a deposit with every car hire. Usually this is one refuel or a percentage of rental. The amount will be returned when the hire car has been returned with a full tank. The deposit will be returned within two to four weeks, depending on when your bank handles it. The deposit will vary depending the country.
Can I take pets with me?
Pets are not allowed in our cars rented in Finland. In other countries, this varies by location. If animals are accepted, you have to take care of protecting the interior. If the car needs cleaning afterwards, we will charge 150 euros in Finland.
Can I drive abroad?
When you rent a car in Finland, you can take it only to Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Even in this case, you must let us know in advance that you plan to take the car abroad. We will prepare you with documentation. There is also an extra fee for border crossing.
You are not allowed to take the car from Finland to any other countries than those mentioned above.
In other countries, limits to border crossing may also apply. Please always check the terms and conditions in advance, or ask the local team when unsure.

If I forget my driving license, can I still hire a car?
Unfortunately no, we have to see a valid driver's license. The copy of the driver's license is not enough.
In Finland, you can drive a car if the country that has given the license has signed the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic or the country is an EU- or ETA -state.
